Skin Surgery

At Footworks, we are one of only a few podiatry practices in the UK to offer skin and nail biopsies and excisions. We can assess, diagnose and treat a range of skin conditions on the feet. We can remove benign lesions which are all sent for histology. Removal is a straightforward procedure that is done under local anaesthesia. 

We have undergone further training in Dermoscopy (examining skin under magnification), and we work in line with NICE Guidelines to ensure we assess, diagnose, manage and refer patients appropriately. We have also undergone further training in identifying skin cancers and early Melonoma detection.
