Naomi Green is a Podiatrist, and expert witness, specialising in assessing and treating the biomechanics of the foot and lower limb and musculoskeletal and sporting injuries in addition to treating all aspects of general footcare including nail surgery.
Following completion of her BSc (Hons) degree in 1999, Naomi worked for the NHS and then went on to work in private healthcare clinics. Naomi has completed a Masters degree in Biomechanics at Staffordshire University, has a post graduate certificate in Sports Podiatry and in 2013 completed a post graduate certificate in Strength and Conditioning with a distinction.
Naomi has the additional advantage of an in-depth understanding and knowledge regarding video gait analysis and pressure measurement and also orthotic manufacture and prescribing due to the invaluable experience she gained from working for several suppliers of gait analysis equipment and orthotic manufacturers.
Having worked as part of a mobile podiatric biomechanics team visiting sports teams/clubs, Naomi has treated sports patients from the juvenile to amateur to professional athlete. Naomi’s MSc helped her specialise in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries.
She has presented numerous workshops in gait analysis, biomechanics and orthotic prescription, lecturing throughout the UK as well as in Denmark, Belgium and India.
In 2011, Naomi was asked to be an expert witness and now regularly undertakes assessments for medico-legal cases.
Being registered with most major private medical insurance providers including Bupa, Simply Health, Norwich Union, PruHealth means patients may be able to claim for their consultation costs.

Ruth is a specialist podiatrist in nail surgery, minor procedures and therapeutic injections. She has extensive experience in treating ingrowing, involuted and pathological nails in both the NHS and private practice. Ruth spent several years working for the NHS in generalist and specialist roles across London, Scotland and the South West. Her final role was Clinical Lead and Specialist Podiatrist in Nail Surgery before she joined Footworks in 2016.
Ruth comes from a family of podiatrists and since graduating from the University of Southampton she has completed the following postgraduate courses:

Ruth has a special interest in dermatology and has undergone further training in minor surgeries such as biopsies, excisions and skin/ nail procedures.
Ruth enjoys all aspects of podiatry including routine, biomechanics and verruca treatments. She is well practised at various local anaesthesia techniques and is experienced at performing Verruca needling and excisions.
Ruth strives to provide a friendly yet professional manner at each appointment ensuring she adopts a patient-centred and evidence-based approach. She tailors her treatments to each individual depending on their needs, medical history and personal preferences.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Ruth returned to the NHS as a Covid Vaccinator for North Bristol NHS Trust, a role that she found thoroughly rewarding and has continued around her podiatry work.
Ruth is Bupa registered and is covered to perform initial assessments, total or partial nail avulsions and gait analysis.

Emma is a podiatrist and foot and ankle sonographer, specialising in musculoskeletal conditions of the foot and ankle, podiatric sports and exercise medicine, and point of care ultrasound imaging of foot and ankle conditions.
Emma graduated from Cardiff Met University in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry. She went on to work in general podiatry in the NHS for over 10 years. In 2011 Emma set up the podiatry service for homeless persons at Compass Health, Bristol’s homeless health service for vulnerable persons who struggle to access mainstream health services. She then spent several enjoyable summers working with festival medical services, providing podiatry support as part of the medical team in a field hospital for Glastonbury and Reading festivals, as part of a charity that raises money to fund overseas and local medical projects.
In 2017 Emma took the opportunity to study a PgCert in Podiatric Sports Medicine, at Queen Mary University London. At the time a new area of podiatry which is rapidly growing, this qualification led to a change of role to a full-time position as a Musculoskeletal Podiatrist in the NHS in 2018, followed by training as a sonographer in musculoskeletal ultrasound in 2020. Emma continues to work in the NHS in a musculoskeletal role but also enjoys providing general foot care and helping to manage all manner of foot problems.

Sarah graduated from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff with a first class honors degree in podiatry in 2009. She has since worked in several private practice settings treating a wide variety of patients and has gained a vast amount of experience in offering the best care for one’s individual needs.
Sarah enjoys treating patients requiring general foot and nail care and is well practised in undertaking nail surgery. Sarah has a keen interest in the treatment of verrucae and fungal nail infections.
She’s a keen sportswoman having completed marathons and currently competing in local squash and softball leagues and is also a mum to Ben. Sarah has lots in common with all ages of patients and finds the conversational part of treating patients a really enjoyable aspect of being a podiatrist.

Sinead qualified from University of Wales Institute Cardiff in 1995 with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine. After graduation, she worked in Kent for the NHS trust where she was involved in musculoskeletal podiatry, nail surgery, verruca management and diabetic foot care.
After moving to Bristol in 1998, Sinead worked for the NHS community Podiatry team, and then went on to join the Musculoskeletal assessment and treatment service (MATS) as a highly specialised clinician managing complex foot and ankle musculoskeletal conditions.
Sinead has previously had her own podiatry clinic and domiciliary service. Within her career she has been involved in many aspects of Podiatry including diabetic foot care, nail surgery, biomechanics, routine podiatry and domiciliary care.
Sinead is currently completing post Graduate training in independent prescribing and also has a qualification in injection therapy.

Beverley started out as a trained nurse studying at UWE, Frenchey and Southmead hospitals and ending up working at BRI hospital, Bristol.
However, Beverley then decided to go back to university and train as a podiatrist, joining the South Gloucestershire podiatry team, in 2015, where she worked as a band 6 podiatrist undertaking nail surgery, wound care and domicillary visits.
Beverley prides herself on focusing on the best quality of patient care which she carries out on a daily basis.
Outside of podiatry, Beverley loves travelling and undertakes Vipassana meditation. She’s slowly learning Portuguese and has just passed a cyber security and coding level 2 course. What varied interests Beverly has!

Mya joined Footworks with a huge amount of customer service experience. Hence, she is great at working in a pressurised environment whilst maintaining fantastic customer service.
